We started this company because our relationship had ended, and after taking a couple of months apart, we decided we might want to work things out. We took a vacation to see if we could rekindle our connection. During that trip, we did a bunch of activities—like “get to know you” cards, rekindling games, and even a candle-making class.

We were told we worked really well together and that we had a unique vibe—something special. That experience sparked the idea that maybe we should do this again. Honestly, it was the first time we had ever collaborated so well, and we had to learn how to make it work.

That’s when we decided to rekindle both our relationship and our passion—by starting this company together.

With each candle we create, the name represents a quality found in strong relationships—whether it’s between friends, partners, family, or anyone in between. Each candle comes with a meaningful word and a quote to reflect that theme.

And that’s how Lite My Fires Candle & Fragrance was born.
